ravens vs. falcons in atlanta

#DMD is flying to Atlanta for the Ravens-Falcons Week 13 game on Sunday, December 2nd at 1:00 pm. The game will be played in the recently completed, state-of-the-art, Mercedes Benz Stadium.

We depart Friendship Airport [governmentally known as BWI] at 3:00 pm on Friday, November 30. We'll stay in Atlanta on Friday and Saturday nights, take in the Ravens-Falcons game, and touch down back at Friendship on Sunday evening, December 2nd.

The cost of the trip is $780 per-person. It includes round-trip airfare, two nights at the Ellis Hotel, ground transportation in Atlanta, and a ticket for the Falcons game.

The Ellis Hotel, located in the heart of town on Peachtree Street, 1.1 miles from the stadium, is named the best hotel in Atlanta by Conde Nast Traveler. Atlanta's rapid-transit rail-system trains can be boarded at Peachtree Center station, a one-minute walk from the hotel. Here are maps of downtown and the rail system.

The SEC Championship game will be played on Saturday, December 1st, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. At this point, it looks to be #1 Alabama vs. #2 Georgia for the league title. ESPN hasn't yet announced the time of the game, but it will probably be scheduled in prime TV time. This game isn't part of the trip, but tickets can be got through StubHub.
