baltimore's biggest sports trivia contest
presented by #dmd and glory days grill

Do you and two teammates know more Baltimore sports history than anyone else in town?

If you do, you can win $2,000!

Drew's Morning Dish presents the biggest and best Baltimore sports trivia contest, where you and two teammates get to put your knowledge on full display.

Questions will range from 1968 through 2018.

Questions in the qualifying rounds and championship round will focus mainly on the Ravens, Colts and Orioles (80% of the questions will center on those three teams); the remaining questions pertain to the Blast, Clippers, Skipjacks and college and high-school athletes and coaches who grew up in Charm City.

Here's the how contest works:

There are four qualifying events, each held at Glory Days Grill in Towson. Your spot in the qualifying event comes on a first-come, first-served basis.

Each qualifying event is limited to 16 teams. A team consists of three persons. Each team must brand itself with a striking and unique [G-Rated] name. All three members of the team must be in attendance in person at the qualifying event.

The per-team entry fee is $75.00. Your team is registered when you complete the registration form below and send in your team entry fee. (There is a $3.00 PayPal fee added to each entry).

The qualifying contests will each consist of 25 questions. Each team will have one hour to answer the questions of the contest. The use of cell phones, the Internet, and books or notes of any kind is strictly prohibited.

Complimentary food and soft drinks will be served to all contestants.

The qualifying dates are:

  • Monday, March 19 — 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm
  • Tuesday, March 20 — 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm
  • Tuesday, March 27 — 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm
  • Tuesday, March 27 — 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm

From each qualifier, the four teams with the highest point totals will advance to the Finals. In the event of a tie for one of the four spots in the Finals, a tiebreaker question will be utilized.

The Finals (16 teams) will be held on Monday, April 9 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Glory Days Grill in Towson. The same three players who participated in the qualifying event MUST also participate in the Finals. There are NO exceptions to this rule.
